In light of the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks on the United States access to the American Consulate General, Naha is restricted.
Until further notice, only the following persons are allowed routine access to the Consulate:
- U.S. passport holders;
- Japanese passport holders;
- Persons with a valid U.S. military ID card;
- Third country nationals who is an immediate family member of a U.S. Citizen or U.S. military ID card holder.
If you do not fall into one of these categories and require consular services, please call the Consulate between the hours of 8:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. - 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday to discuss your situation. Our number is (098) 876-4211 or DSN 645-7323.
