For American Citizen Services, including walk-in passport and Consular Report of Birth Abroad applicants, please arrive at the consulate between 8:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m., or 1:30 p.m. and 3:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Federal benefits cases will continue to be handled by appointment.

If you require assistance with green cards, please arrive at the consulate between 8:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m., or 1:30 p.m. and 3:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. We are closed on U.S. and Japanese holidays.

We are located in Urasoe City on Route 241 just west of the intersection of Route 330 and Route 241, next to the Barkley's Court. Coming south on Route 330, turn left onto Route 241 (towards Shuri). The Consulate General is about 50 meters from the intersection on the right (south) side of the street. We are also on municipal bus routes 25, 90, 98, 88.
