Nanzan University Professor Dr. Robyn Lim visited Okinawa Nov. 28-30 to participate in a series of programs, including the Consulate General's quarterly Okinawa journalist and U.S. military base public affairs officer study group, where she spoke on Okinawa's very important geography.
Dr. Lim noted that Okinawa's strategic importance has remained unchanged since the Cold War. She also stressed the necessity for stationing U.S. forces in Okinawa.
