Naha City Supports Hurricane Katrina relief efforts [Go to Japanese]
October 9, 2005 Consul General Thomas G. Reich, center, accepts a generous donation from Naha City officials in support of Hurricane Katrina relief efforts. The funds were collected at the Naha Civic Center on October 9th during a jazz concert held as a part of the 4th annual Naha Peace Arts Festival. Eleven elementary schools and two junior high schools participated in the jazz event.
