March 5, Okinawa City – NASA Astronaut Dan Tani visited with approximately 250 students at the Okinawa Prefectural Teacher Training Center this afternoon. Mr. Tani spoke about how he became an astronaut and about the time he spent living aboard the International Space Station. In his slide show he shared many of the beautiful photos he took from space. After his speech, Mr. Tani took questions from students.
