October 17, Naha – Students from Naha International High School spent an entire day touring Consulate General Naha, speaking with staff and learning about day to day activities of a diplomatic mission. The group met with Consul General Kevin Maher, assisted in the Consular Section and learned what it was like to be interviewed on camera in the Consulate's Public Affairs Section.

When asked about the experience, almost every student admitted to being nervous at the start of the program but, due to the friendliness of the consulate staff, had overcome their fear and learned a lot about international relations.
