
Okinawa Prefectural Assembly Members Tour Patriot Missile Battery
On January 24, nine members of the Okinawa Prefectural Assembly visited Kadena Air Base to receive a briefing and site tour of the recently deployed Patriot Missile system. The group was led by Okinawa Prefectural Assembly member Toru Odo.

Army Colonel Kenneth S. Lundgren, 10th Area Support Group commander, and Lieutenant Colonel Matthew T. Michaelson, First Battalion, First Air Defense Artillery Regiment commander, spoke to the group about the missile battalion's mission and capabilities. This was followed by a tour of a Patriot missile battery.
