Konan High School Student receives Consulate General Award

On December 9, Public Affairs Officer Frank Stanley served as a judge and later presented the American Consulate General's 50,000 Yen Scholarship to Konan High School’s Megumi Moromizato, the first place winner of this year’s Okinawa Christian University and Okinawa Christian Junior College English Oratorical Contest. Miss Moromizato spoke on America’s “Melting Pot” and “Salad Bowl.” The Consulate General has supported the contest for many years.
