On June 22-24, Mr. Robin H. "Sak" Sakoda, A Partner at Armitage International, LLC., visited the island for a series of programs. On June 23, he spoke before 20 politicians on the "Outlook for the U.S.-Japan Security Alliance" at a breakfast meeting of the Consulate General-sponsored study group for the Okinawa Prefectural Assembly's Defense Federation.That same afternoon, after attending Memorial Day services at Okinawa Peace Park, Sakoda addressed 60 business members of the Okinawa Keizai Doyukai. Afterwards, he sat down with seven reporters for a 30-minute interview. The same evening, Consul General Thomas G. Reich hosted a small dinner attended by various Okinawan dignitaries.
