Urasoe City and Consulate Co-Sponsor Baseball Tournament

The City of Urasoe and the American Consulate General cosponsored an Okinawa-wide youth friendship baseball tournament on April 15-16 for junior and senior high school students. SOLA Okinawa won the tournament.
A total of 10 Japanese and two American teams participated in the tournament. In addition to SOLA Okinawa, participating teams included the following: Urasoe Brave Boys A and B, Tomishiro Ocean Boys, Okinawa Young Spirits, Onna Boys, Koza Boys, Nago Flippers, Okinawa Try Young and Naha East Boys. High school teams from Kadena High School and Kubasaki High School also participated.
